Strong and stable offshore winds around Japan are potential energy resource which can cover domestic electricity demand. Developing of offshore wind power generation system which is feasible under severe weather and sea conditions is required. Our main target is the development of floating offshore wind turbines, which is suitable for deep water near Japan.

Recently, we have been working on topics such as underwater monitoring of floating offshore wind turbines and vertical-axis wind turbines.
